Working With Local Groups

Our Family Center works with at-risk families with school-aged children in Hammond and East Chicago. Since we are in south Hammond, most clients live in the Hammond Gavit school zone. Families come to us by “word-of-mouth” from other parents and children, referrals from schools and referrals from other social service organizations.

We partner with the School City of Hammond, Salvation Army, North Township Trustees, Northwest Indiana Food Bank and more, to help at-risk families.
